FAQs

Find answers to common questions about our mission and how you can contribute.

  • Faith, Hope, and Love Global Ministries’ mission is to “teach, inspire, and encourage followers of Christ to serve God more effectively as Spirit-led leaders.” Our disciple-building and Christian
leadership development efforts are focused on three of the most troubled and under-resourced
places in the world: Myanmar, western Thailand, and eastern Congo.

To fulfill our mission, FHLGM provides academic courses, workshops, webinars, books, and a host of other literature. In addition to the in-person teaching and ministry we offer among refugees in the Thai-Myanmar borderlands, we are able to reach tens of thousands of additional people through Facebook, YouTube, the FHLGM website, and a blog site (spirit-ledleadership.com). Many books and articles are available in Burmese, French, Swahili, and other tribal languages, as well as in English.

Please consider making a contribution to Faith, Hope, and Love Global Ministries today to enable our ministries to keep growing. We would love to have you as part of our support team and to provide biblical resources directly to your inbox to help you to grow in your own relationship with God. Please contact us for more information or go directly to the Donate Online Now option below.

  • Faith, Hope, and Love Global Ministries exists to teach, inspire, and encourage followers of Christ to serve God more effectively as Spirit-led leaders. Our vision is for better-equipped, spiritually vital leaders serving Christ in strategic positions of influence throughout the world.

  • We currently are not providing opportunities for people to travel with us to ministry sites. We want to make sure our focus remains on teaching and discipleship of locals instead of facilitating missions trips.

  • Volunteers make up the backbone of Faith, Hope, and Love Global Ministries in a wide variety of ways. In the USA, volunteers serve on our Board of Directors, Board of Advisors, do bookkeeping, and handle our office affairs. In the Congo, Thailand, and Myanmar, volunteers provide essential program assistance and logistical support. Those interested in volunteering in some capacity, such as by providing English language tutoring, teaching workshops on relevant topics, or hosting informational events at their church, should contact Dr. Tim Geoffrion directly via this website.

  • Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

  • Due to our expanding opportunities, our “wish list” for sponsorship is growing.

    2. Funding to print 2000 copies of the Swahili translation What Can We Expect from God Now? Seven Spiritual Truths for Trusting God in Troubled Times for traumatized, impoverished, and suffering Congolese pastors and other Christian leaders in Eastern Congo

    3. Sponsorship for Myanmar students to travel to Chiang Mai, Thailand, to study for a one week intensive in May 2026 (approximately $700/student x 10 students)

  • Over the years, we have worked directly in nine countries (USA, France, Ukraine, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam) and indirectly in two more (India and Pakistan). Currently, we are focusing most of our attention on Myanmar, Thailand, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
